SCOTT B. REYNOLDS, M.D.
Orthopaedic Surgery & Sports Medicine
Dr. Scott Reynolds, MD is an Orthopaedic Surgeon specializing in sports
medicine with Nebraska Orthopaedic Associates. He earned his Bachelor
of Arts degree, summa cum laude, from Hastings College. He graduated
Doctor of Medicine with High Distinction from the University of Nebraska
College of Medicine. He completed his Orthopaedic Surgery Residency
training at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics in Madison,
Wisconsin, where he was selected as Chief Resident by attending staff in
2005. In 2007 he completed his Orthopedic Sports Medicine Fellowship
at the American Sports Medicine Institute in Birmingham, Alabama. He is
licensed in Iowa and Nebraska, and was ABOS Board Certified in 2009.
Dr. Reynolds was the proud recipient of the Leonard Marmor Surgical
Arthritis Foundation Award (Resident of the Year) in 2006, and the American
Sports Medicine Fellowship Society Annual Clinical Science Research
Award in 2007. He received the AOA Senior Scholar Award (#1 Overall
Ranking in Class) from the University of Nebraska Medical Center, and was
a National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame National Scholar
Athlete at Hastings College.
Dr. Reynolds has served as Orthopaedic Consultant and Team Physician to
the Omaha Royals AAA basebal team, and has experience treating injuries
of professional, collegiate, high school, and recreational level teams.
