 Steven X. Goebel, M.D.
Orthopaedic Surgery & Sports Medicine
Steven X. Goebel, MD, earned his medical degree from Creighton University School of Medicine. He completed his orthopaedic residency at the
University of Cincinnati and then completed a sub-specialty sports medicine fellowship at the Cincinnati Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center.
Dr. Goebel, a St. Albert graduate, attended Iowa State University for his undergraduate degree in Business Administration in Accounting. He
completed his post baccalaureate studies in pre-med at the University of Iowa. He specializes in sports-related injuries, joint replacements,
arthroscopic surgery, general orthopaedics and fracture care. Dr. Goebel is board certified in general orthopaedics as well as the subspecialty
of sports medicine. He and his wife, Dr. Debora Goebel—a pediatric ENT—and their daughters, reside in Omaha.
